Judy's Story
Well, after high school I went to SF State for 4 years as an art major. George Parker and I were engaged after high school and we finally married in June of 1965. George thoroughly enjoyed being a high school/part-time college teacher for 33 years after trying many other professions prior that he did not like. I was able to stay home for many years to be a mom. We have 2 children, Vince and Laura. When the kids graduated, I opened a clothing store in Cameron Park, "Land of Awes", and enjoyed doing that for 15 years. We have been happily married for over 50 years now. in Burbank, Ca. doing what he loves, graphic effects. He has done many major movies can be seen in the credits as a post production effects engineer. When George and I go to the movies it is usually one that he has been involved in and we sit through the credits as proud parents just to see his name, lol. We have been retired now for 13 years and really enjoy our time together traveling and helping our daughter with her very successful clothing and costume store, Solstice, in Nevada City, CA.
